VegFest in Tampa 2016

We recently attended VegFest in Tampa. It was the 7th year of this event and it was packed with people and vegan food booths and exhibits. There were speakers and entertainment.

Tampa VegFest is put on by Florida Voices for Animals. It takes place at Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park in downtown Tampa. The park is dog friendly, so feel free to bring along your furry friends! Suggestion: (try another location with better parking! How about doing it in St Pete?)

The range of food choices included raw vegan treats like desserts and smoothies, along with offerings from The Loving Hut, Lotus, Love Food Central and even Ethiopian food from Queen of Sheba.

This event has grown tremendously over the years. We are pleased to see so many more vegan opportunities for the public now. Vegan food is becoming mainstream. What a cool thing to imagine!

My dream is that people one day will not be afraid to say VEGAN, loud and proud. As the VegFest confirms there are more and more people seeking out vegan food and getting healthier and more health conscious all the time.
